The client's brief for this pool was simple: rejuvenate the dated (approximately 30-year-old), rectangular-shaped, fully tiled swimming pool and add a new spa.

The result is an elegant pool which enhances the home's alfresco area. The pool spans 10m x 4.5m and features a 6-person spa adjoining the shallow end.

To transform the pool and make it contemporary, the builder installed a new interior, in addition to new steps in the shallow end and a new ledge in the deep end.

To further enhance the aesthetics of the pool, blue glass mosaic waterline tiles were used for the pool and to define the spa, creating a stunning contrast to the light blue within the pool.

The blue hues also contrast beautifully with the natural stone coping used around the water's edge and for the raised section of the spa.
